Braces from Mid-field wizards help East Bengal to beat Indian Arrows.
Tough Journey, travelling problem, polluted atmosphere and young world cuppers could not hold on Kingfisher East Bengal, as they win their 5th game in Hero I-League!
With Goal-keeper Dheeraj Singh not under the Arrows goal post, it was not so tough for the Red & Gold brigade to beat the young Indian lads. 'Mid-field wizard', Mahmoud Al-Amna and 'Japanese Bomber', Katsumi Yusa scored scored two braces for the Kolkata Giant. On the other hand, forward Jobby Justin had his I-League debut for Kingfisher East Bengal in this match.
Eduardo Ferriera again proved to the 'Rock' in the central of defence as, Bazou Armand played the pivotal role, somtimes with Cavin Lobo beside him. The young World Cuppers fought hard to dominate East Bengal but, they failed due to the lack of prolific forwards.
Winning the Arrows match by 2-0, Kingfisher East Bengal are still the table toppers with 17 points from 8 matches.
