Confident East Bengal FC all set to take on Bengaluru FC in 5th Round I-League Match
Kolkata Giants East Bengal FC is all set to take on Bengaluru FC in 5th Round of 2016 Hero I-League match at Barasat Stadium.
East Bengal who had shown consistence performance in the last couple of matches would definitely go for a win to keep themselves at the top of the table. Defeating DSK Shivajians in their first home match had boosted their moral. The most important thing is that the team is in good shape and Do Dong looked more energetic in the last match, which is obvious a good news for the fans. Obviously goal machine Ranty Martin’s form also brought back smile to the team and fans.
If we go through head to head comparison then we will see that East Bengal is ahead of Bengaluru FC. With both the teams had played four times against each other, the Red & Gold brigade is ahead by 3:1.
With the current form, previous statistics and home ground advantage, East Bengal is no doubt firm favourite before the match.
On the other hand Bengaluru FC is in a bit of pressure with losing their last match to Mumbai FC by 0-2. Bengaluru FC looked out of sorts and were clueless against Mumbai FC. However as a team no team can take them lightly as they finished at top two position since their debut.
