Kingfisher East Bengal Club are set to rope in Indian defender Anwar Ali for upcoming I-League.
Anwar Ali is no new name in Indian Football Circuit. The strongly built defender signed for East Bengal to play in the coming I-League. The officials took a wise decision to sign the experienced defender after Mr. Dependable Arnab Mondal was ruled out for one & half month due to the twisted ankle last week. Anwar have the experience of playing in kolkata, when he played for MB in previous two seasons.
Throughout the ISL-III season Anwar performed well. Playing for Mumbai City FC he gave solidity to their defence line up. East Bengal have already signed 28 players (including 2 foreigners ) to their I-League squad. The most awaited 2 spots of remaining foreigners are still up for grabs.
It seems this 2 players will be deciding factor for Team East Bengal.
