Kingfisher East Bengal Have three points from their Second match in CFL 2016-17 against Peerless F.C

A highly improved performance by Kingfisher East Bengal facilitated them to outplay Peerless 2-0 in their second fixture of the CFL at the Kalyani Municipal Stadium today.With this win East Bengal displaced their rivals at the top of the table and now have 6 points from 2 matches.After settling down East Bengal completely dominated the first half and opened the scoring in 18th minute when Rahul Bheke nodded in a an inch perfect flag kick by Mehtab Hossein.The lead was doubled in a similar fashion by Arnab Mondal in the 30th minute - Mehtab again being the provider from another flag kick.Dong Hyun Do later missed a penalty when he shot straight to the rival custodian.East Bengal missed a number of chances.Peerless made an effortto come back in the second half bu East Bengal continued their dominance.The two changes by the Coach bringing in Callum Angus and Robert Lalthalmuana had a positive impact.
