10 Man East Bengal FC defeated Mohun Bagan SG 2-1 in Calcutta Football League (CFL) 24-25 at Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan on Saturday.
Though this was a Kolkata derby, but both both the teams fielded their reserve players.
East Bengal FC was reduced to 10 men in the 77′ when Joseph Justin was marched off following his second booking.
For the Red & Gold Brigades, P.V. Vishnu in 51′ and Jesin Thonikkara in 65′ scored the goals while for Mohun Bagan SG, Suhail Bhat pulled back one in injury time (90+6′).
