ATK Mohun Bagan defeated FC Goa 2-0 the Indian Super League (ISL) 2021-22 at the Athletic Stadium in Bambolim on Tuesday.
Manvir Singh (3’, 46’) scored a brace to ensure the Mariners stretched their unbeaten run to 11 games and remain second in the table with a commanding position as far as the semi-final race is concerned.
FC Goa’s slim chances of making the semis all but went up in smoke as they remained on 18 points from 17 outings.
Manvir Singh won the Hero of the Match Award.
In the next match, Odisha FC will face Chennaiyin FC. SC East Bengal will next play against Mumbai City FC at the PJN Stadium on Tuesday, February 22.
