ATK Mohun Bagan defeated NorthEast United FC 2-1 in the fifth round encounter of Hero Indian Super League (ISL) 2022-23 match at Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan, Kolkata on Thursday.
For ATK Mohun Bagan Liston Colaco scored in 35′ and Subhasish Bose in 89′ while for NorthEast United FC Aaron Evans scored one back in 81′.
The win saw Mohun Bagan climbing to the second spot of the current standings with 10 points from five matches. NorthEast United conceded its sixth straight loss to remain at the bottom of the table.
Subhasish Bose won the Hero of the Match Award.
In the next match, Bengaluru FC will take on East Bengal FC at Sree Kanteerava Stadium, Bengaluru.
