ATK Mohun Bagan defeated SC East Bengal 3-1 in ISL 2021-22

It was a breathless Kolkata derby as ATK Mohun Bagan left it late to secure a memorable 3-1 win over arch-rivals SC East Bengal in the Indian Super League (ISL) 2021-22 at the PJN Stadium in Fatorda on Saturday.

The win was single-handedly delivered by the youngest ever hat-trick scorer in ISL, Kiyan Nassiri (64’, 90+2, 90+3’), the son of East Bengal legend Jamshid Nassiri. Darren Sidoel (56’) gave the Red & Gold Brigade a lead in the second-half.

Kiyan Giri won the Hero of the Match Award.

In the next match, Bengaluru FC will face Kerala Blasters FC on January 30, Sunday.

SC East Bengal will face Chennaiyin FC in their next at the Tilak Maidan Stadium on Wednesday while ATK Mohun Bagan will clash against reigning champions Mumbai City FC at the PJN Stadium on Thursday.
