Australia marched towards the AFC Women’s Asian Cup 2022 quarter-finals with a 4-0 win over the Philippines in Group B at Mumbai Football Arena on Monday.
For Australia, S. Kerr 51, E. van Egmond 67’, M. Fowler 87’ scored the goals while Dominique Jaylin Randle (53′) scored an OG.
Australia will be mathematically confirmed as group winners with a point or better against Thailand on Thursday, while the Philippines are likely to join them in the quarter-finals if they can defeat Indonesia in Navi Mumbai.
