Bengaluru FC defeated 10-man East Bengal FC 1-0 in Indian Super League (ISL) 2024-25 match at Sree Kanteerava Stadium on Saturday.
Vinith Venkatesh in 25’ scored the only goal of the match.
In 87′, East Bengal was down to 10 men as Lalchunnunga was given a marching order following a foul on Ryan Williams, who was running with the ball on the counter-attack.
Vinith Venkatesh was adjudged Key Performer of the Match.
East Bengal FC next will face Kerala Blasters FC at Kochi on September 22 whereas Bengaluru FC will host Hyderabad FC on September 19.
