Bengaluru FC defeated Mumbai City FC 3-0 in the Indian Super League (ISL) 2021-22 at the PJN Stadium in Fatorda.
Danish Farooq Bhat gave the Blues lead in 8’ while Prince Ibara in 23’ & 45’ scored a brace with two towering headed goals to show their dominance in the match.
Defending champions Mumbai City FC missed the chance to regain the top spot and have collected only two points in their last five matches. Bengaluru FC are now only three points away from fourth place in the points table.
Roshan Naorem won the Hero of the Match award.
In the next match, Jamshedpur FC will take on SC East Bengal.
