Bengaluru FC edge past Mohammedan SC 2-1 in Indian Super League (ISL) 2024-25 match at Kishore Bharati Krirangan in Kolkata on Wednesday.
Cesar Manzoki gave Mohammedan SC the lead in 8′, however Sunil Chhetri coming on as a substitute scored a brace in 82’ and 90+9’ to secure three points for The Blues.
Bengaluru FC now have registered a win against all three Kolkata clubs this season.
Sunil Chhetri was adjudged Key Performer of the Match. He also became the first player to score against all the 15 ISL teams.
Bengaluru FC is now leading with 20 points from 9 matches while Mohammedan SC is at 12th place with five points.
Next, Mohammedan SC will face Jamshedpur on December 2 while Bengaluru FC will face Odisha FC on December 1.
