In an exciting match Cameroon came from behind to hold Serbia 3-3 in Group G match of FIFA World Cup 2022 at Al Janoub Stadium in Qatar.
Jean-Charles Castelletto gave Cameroon the lead in 29’, but a quick-fire double at the end of the first period from Strahinja Pavlovic in 45+1’ and Sergej Milinkovic-Savic in 45+3’ swung the game in Serbia’s favour.
Aleksandar Mitrovic added another in 54’ thus Serbia took control of the match. However, Cameroon striker Vincent Aboubakar came off the bench to score one goal in 63’ and set up another for Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting in 66’ rescued a point in their 3-3 draw with Serbia to end a run of eight successive World Cup losses.
In the final round of Group G, Cameroon will face Brazil, while Serbia will face Switzerland.
