Carles Cuadrat resigned as head coach of East Bengal FC, the club announced in an official statement on Monday. Bino George will serve as the interim Head Coach. The club said it will make further announcements in due course.

Under Coach Carles Cuadrat, The Red & Gold Brigade lost three matches that the team had played in ISL 2024-25 against Bengaluru FC, Kerala Blasters and FC Goa. Earlier, they lost in Durand Cup quarterfinals to Shillong Lajong FC and lost to Turkmenistan’s Altyn Asyr FC 3-2 in AFC Champions League Two Preliminary Round.

Last Season, under Cuadrat’s coaching, East Bengal FC won Super Cup title, which brought 12-year drought for Red & Gold’s national title. Moreover, East Bengal FC finished Runners-Up in Durand Cup.

East Bengal management will search for someone to replace Carles Cuadrat as the club’s permanent head coach.
