Chennaiyin FC came from behind to beat ATK Mohun Bagan 2-1 in Hero ISL 2022-23

Chennaiyin FC scripted a fine come-back to beat the favourite ATK Mohun Bagan 2-1 and start its campaign on a winning note in Hero Indian Super League (ISL) 2022-23, at the Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan on Monday.

Chennaiyin FC trailed by Manvir Singh’s goal in 27’. However, in second half goals by substitute Kwame Karikari scored in 64’ (penalty) and Rahim Ali in 83’, gave Chennaiyin FC a winning start in 2022-23 campaign.

Kwame Karikari won the Hero of the Match Award

In the next match, Jamshedpur FC will take on Odisha FC on October 11.

East Bengal FC will next play against Goa FC at home on October 12.
