Chennaiyin FC came from behind to hold FC Goa 2-2 draw in Indian Super League (ISL) 2024-25 at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Chennai.

Jordan Wilmar Gil gave Chennaiyin FC the lead in 11’, but FC Goa scored two goals in a span of 6 minutes through Udanta Singh (45’) and Armando Sadiku (51’(P)) to take the lead. Chima Chukwu in 79’ equalized for the hosts.

Connor Shields of Chennaiyin FC was adjudged Player of the Match.

Chennaiyin FC currently is at fifth place with 8 points from 5 matches while FC Goa is at eighth place with 6 points from 6 matches.

Next, Chennaiyin FC will travel to Delhi to face Punjab FC on October 31 while FC Goa will host Bengaluru FC on November 2.
