Chennaiyin FC defeated East Bengal FC 2-0 in Hero Indian Super League (ISL) 2022-23 match at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Chennai on Sunday.

For Chennaiyin FC, Rahim Ali in 87′ scored one goal while Lalchungnunga scored OG in 49′. Thus they ended their eight games winless streak.

Chennaiyin FC with this win remained at 8th place with 21 points and East Bengal FC also remained at 9th place with 16 points.

Anirudh Thapa won the Hero of the Match Award.

Next on Tuesday, 14th February Hyderabad FC will take on ATK Mohun Bagan.
