Chennaiyin FC defeated Jamshedpur FC 5-2 in Indian Super League (ISL) 2024-25 at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Chennai on Sunday.
For Chennaiyin FC, Daniel Chima Chukwu (25′ & 90+6′) and Irfan Yadwad (57′ & 90′) scored a brace each while Lukas Pivetta Brambilla scored the other goal in 45+3′. For Jamshedpur FC, Rei Tachikawa in 18′ and Mohammed Sanan in 62′ pulled back.
With this win Chennaiyin FC finished their ISL campaign with 27 points, while Jamshedpur FC despite losing this match, will feature further in playoff as they finished fifth with 38 points.
Irfan Yadwad was adjudged Key Performer of the Match.
