Chennaiyin FC played an entertaining 1-1 draw against Bengaluru FC in the Hero Indian Super League (ISL) 2022-23 Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Chennai, on Friday.

Roy Krishna in 4’ gave Bengaluru FC the lead, while Prasanth K in 45+1’ equalized for Chennaiyin FC.

Debjit Majumder was sent off late in the game in 82’ and Chennaiyin FC was down to 10 men in last 10 minutes of the match.

Y. Jiteshwor Singh won the Hero of the Match Award.

Next on October 15, Mumbai City FC will take on Odisha FC at the MFA stadium in Mumbai.

Meanwhile, East Bengal FC will next face NorthEast United FC on October 20 at Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium, Guwahati.
