Croatia defeated Canada 4-1 in Group F of 2022 FIFA World Cup at Khalifa International Stadium, Qatar on Sunday.
Canada scored an early goal in 2′ through Alphonso Davies. However, 2018 runners-up came back strongly and moved a point away from the last 16 and dashed Canada’s knockout-stage hopes.
After two defeats, Canada’s exit at the group stage was confirmed, they will now face Morocco who are also on four points, in its final game.
For Croatia, Andrej Kramaric scored a brace 36′ and 70′ while Marko Livaja scored in 44′ and Lovo Majer scored in 90+4′ scored the other two goals.
