East Bengal Club won the 2024 Calcutta Hockey League defeating Calcutta Customs 5-2 in their final match on Friday, March 15. The Red & Gold Brigade won the title as unbeaten champions. This is the 11th time that East Bengal FC have won the title.

Earlier, they won in 1960, 1961, 1963, 1964, 1968, 1973, 1976, 1979, 1989 and 2022.

The club disbanded their hockey section in 2000 but revived after 21 years in 2021. In 2022, East Bengal Club won their tenth title after 33 years.

In Super Six stage, East Bengal defeated BNR, FCI, Calcutta Customs 5-2, CESC Sports Club 4-0, Mohun Bagan 1-0.
