East Bengal cricket team’s coach Pranab Nandy has joined arch rivals Mohun Bagan club for a three year contract. This is the first time he will be in the role of coach for Green and Maroon. Earlier as a cricketer he had played for Mohun Bagan for 20 years.
He later shifted to Red & Gold Brigade. After playing for 8 years, he retired as a cricketer from East Bengal and continued as the coach for 17 long years. During his tenure as a coach East Bengal has won several trophies.
He is joining Mohun Bagan after a gap of 25 years. His elder brother Palash Nandy will be the mentor of the team.
