East Bengal FC defeated Gokulam Kerala FC 2-1 in the quarterfinal of 2023 Durand Cup at Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan on Friday.
For East Bengal FC, Jordan Elsey scored in the very first minute of the match, while Aminou Bouba scored an OG in 78′ when he turned a Nishu Kumar cross into his own net. For Gokulam Kerala FC, Aminou Bouba equalized in 57′.
East Bengal FC will now take on Northeast United in the semi-final on Tuesday.
