East Bengal FC bow out of AFC Challenge League after defeat to FC Arkadag in Quarterfinals, in the second leg at Arkadag Stadium in Turkmenistan on Wednesday. Earlier, East Bengal suffered a 1-0 defeat in the first leg in Kolkata, thus finished with a 1-3 aggregate loss.

The Red & Gold Brigade started the game on high as Raphael Messi Bouli gave East Bengal FC the lead in the very first minute if the match.

However, Annadurdiyev scored a brace for hosts (87′ (P) & 90+’) to take FC Arkadag through to semi-finals.
