East Bengal FC came from behind to defeat George Telegraph 3-1 in Calcutta Football League (CFL) 2024-25 Group B match at East Bengal Ground on Sunday.

Amit Ekka gave George Telegraph the lead in 34′. Jesin TK equalized for East Bengal in 47′ while Sayan Banerjee scored a brace in 65′ and 89′ to give the Red & Gold Brigade second consecutive win.

Sayan Banerjee was adjudged the Player of the Match. This was his back-to-back Player of the match award.

East Bengal FC will next face Mohun Bagan SG on July 13.

Earlier, the Red & Gold Brigade defeated Tollygunge Agragami 7-1.
