East Bengal FC clubbed with Mohun Bagan SG in Group A of 2024 Durand Cup which is scheduled to start from July 24.
Indian Air Force FT and Downtown Heroes FC are the other two teams of the Group.
In the last edition also the arch rivals were clubbed in same group. The Red & Gold brigade won the league phase match while both the teams again faced in final and Mohun Bagan SG defeated East Bengal FC in final.
East Bengal FC had won Durand Cup 16 times while Mohun Bagan SG won 17 times.
The final is scheduled to be played at Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan.
