39 times champion East Bengal FC is clubbed with Mohun Bagan SG in Group B of Calcutta Football League Premier Division (CFL) 2024-25.
26 teams have been divided in two groups of 13 teams each. The top three teams from each group advance to the Super Six round, where they compete for the championship with points carried over from the group stage.
In the last edition, East Bengal FC Reserve team finished runners-up. In Group Stage the Red & Gold Brigade finished on top with 30 points (Matches: 12, Won: 8, Draw 3). In Super Six stage, East Bengal FC Reserve team lost to Mohammedan SC and finished runners-up.
