East Bengal FC defeated Bhawanipore FC 1-0 in Calcutta Football League (CFL) 2024-25 Group B match at East Bengal Ground on Monday.
For Red & Gold Brigade, Jesin scored in 7′.
Jesin TK had scored his eighth goal in eight matches of CFL 2024-25.
With this win, East Bengal FC climbed to top of Group B with 22 points from eight matches.
Earlier, the Red & Gold Brigade defeated Tollygunge Agragami 7-1, George Telegraph 3-1, Mohun Bagan SG 2-1, Police AC 6-0, Railway FC 2-0, Eastern Railway 3-0 and played a goalless draw with Calcutta Customs.
East Bengal FC will next face Kalighat SLA on August 17.
