East Bengal FC defeated Calcutta Police Club 3-0 in Calcutta Football League (CFL) 2024-25 Group B match at East Bengal Ground on Friday.
For Red & Gold Brigade, B. Sunil in 5′, Tanmay in 35′ and Sayan in 88′ scored the goals.
East Bengal FC finished at top of Group B with 34 points from twelve matches.
Earlier, the Red & Gold Brigade defeated Tollygunge Agragami 7-1, George Telegraph 3-1, Mohun Bagan SG 2-1, Police AC 6-0, Railway FC 2-0, Eastern Railway 3-0, Bhawanipore FC 1-0, Kalighat Sports Lovers Association 4-0, ASOS Rainbow AC 2-0, Peerless SC 2-1 and played a goalless draw with Calcutta Customs.
East Bengal FC along with Bhawanipore FC and Calcutta Customs qualified for super six from Group B.
