East Bengal FC defeated Chennaiyin FC 2-0 in Indian Super League (ISL) 2024-25 at Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium in Chennai on Saturday.
For East Bengal FC, PV Vishnu in 54’ and Jeakson Singh in 84’ scored the goals.
This was Red & Gold Brigade’s third consecutive clean sheet in this season’s ISL.
PV Vishnu was adjudged Key Performer of the Match.
With this win East Bengal FC moved to 11th place with 7 points from 9 matches while Chennaiyin FC remained at 9th place with 12 points from 11 matches.
Next, Chennaiyin FC will host Hyderabad FC on December 11 whereas East Bengal FC will host Odisha FC on December 12.
