East Bengal FC defeated Eastern Railway 3-0 in Calcutta Football League (CFL) 2024-25 Group B match at East Bengal Ground on Friday.
For Red & Gold Brigade, Musharaf in 32′, Aman in 41′ and Jesin in 77′ scored the goals.
Jesin TK was adjudged Player of the match. He had scored his seventh goal in seven matches of CFL 2024-25.
With this win, East Bengal FC climbed to top of Group B with 19 points from seven matches. Bhawanipur also have same points from seven matches, but are at second place on goal difference.
Earlier, the Red & Gold Brigade defeated Tollygunge Agragami 7-1, George Telegraph 3-1, Mohun Bagan SG 2-1, Police AC 6-0, Railway FC 2-0 and played a goalless draw with Calcutta Customs.
East Bengal FC will next face Bhawanipore FC on August 12.
