East Bengal FC defeated Kerala Blasters FC 2-1 in Indian Super League (ISL) 2024-25 at the Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan in Kolkata on Friday.

This was East Bengal FC’s first victory in five games, the team last won 1-0 against Jamshedpur FC on December 21.

For East Bengal FC, PV Vishnu in 20’ and Hijazi Maher in 72’ scored the goals. For Kerala Blasters FC, Danish Farooq pulled back one in 84’.

Lalchungnunga was adjudged Key Performer of the Match.

East Bengal FC currently placed at eleventh position with 17 points, while Kerala Blasters FC remained at eighth place with 21 points.

Next, East Bengal FC will face Mumbai City FC on January 31, whereas Kerala Blasters FC will face Chennaiyin FC on January 30.
