East Bengal FC defeated Mohun Bagan SG 2-1 in Durand Cup 2025 Quarterfinal at the Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan in Kolkata on Sunday.

The Red & Gold Brigades will face Diamond Harbour FC in semifinal.

For East Bengal FC, Dimitrios Diamantakos scored a brace in 38′ (P) and 52′. For Mohun Bagan SG, Anirudh Thapa pulled back one in 62′.

16 times champions, East Bengal FC had an early setback as Hamid Ahadad had to leave the ground in 18′ due to injury, however, substitute Dimitrios Diamantakos did the job for Red & Gold Brigades.
