East Bengal FC defeated Mohun Bagan SG 4-1 in AIFF U13 Junior League 2024-25 at Bansberia Kishore Sangha Ground on Wednesday.
For East Bengal FC, Walid Hossain scored a brace in 35′ and 43′, while Mohammad Ahmad Wadoo in 9′ and Rohan Sk in 62′ scored a goal each. For Mohun Bagan SG, Shagnik Kundu pulled back one in 40′.
Walid Hossain was adjudged Player of the match.
Earlier, in First Leg, East Bengal FC lost to Mohun Bagan SG by 1-0, Adamas United Sports Academy 3-0, defeated Bidhannagar Municipal Sports Academy 1-0 and Mohammedan SC 3-0, played a goalless draw with Bengal Football Academy.
In second leg, East Bengal FC defeated Mohammedan SC 3-1, Adamas United Sports Academy 3-1, plaed a goalless draw with Bengal Football Academy.
East Bengal FC now have 17 points from 9 matches and are at second place in league table.
East Bengal FC will next face Bidhannagar Municipal Sports Academy at Bidhannagar Municipal Sports Academy Ground on March 08.
