East Bengal FC defeated Nita Football Academy 4-1 in Indian Women’s League (IWL) 2024-25 at Capital Football Arena, Kolkata on Monday.
For Moshal Girls, Anju Tamang in 30′, Soumya Guguloth in 48′, Resty Nanziri in 50′ and Sandhiya Ranganathan in 67′ scored the goal. For home team, Gifty Acheampong scored back one in 61′.
Sandhiya Ranganathan was adjudged Player of the match.
Earlier, East Bengal FC defeated Sribhumi FC 1-0 and Kickstart FC 2-0.
East Bengal FC will next face Sethu Football Club on January 28 at Kolkata.
