East Bengal FC defeated Railway FC 2-0 in Calcutta Football League (CFL) 2024-25 Group B match at East Bengal Ground on Wednesday.
For Red & Gold Brigade, Musharaf in 46+2′ and Adil in 68′ scored the goals.
With this win, East Bengal FC climbed to top of Group B with 16 points from six matches. Bhawanipur also have same points from six matches, but are at second place on goal difference.
Earlier, the Red & Gold Brigade defeated Tollygunge Agragami 7-1, George Telegraph 3-1, Mohun Bagan SG 2-1, Police AC 6-0 and played a goalless draw with Calcutta Customs.
