East Bengal FC defeated Railway FC 2-0 in their eighth match of Calcutta Football League (CFL) 2023 at East Bengal Ground.
The Red & Gold brigade now have 18 points and are at top of Group B. Earlier, East Bengal FC drew with Rainbow AC 0-0, BSS Sporting 1-1, Bhowanipur FC 1-1, defeated West Bengal Police FC 4-2, Kidderpore 2-0, Eastern railway 5-1 and Athletic Club 5-0.
For East Bengal FC, Aman in 20′ and Nishu in 64′ scored the goals.
