East Bengal FC defeated Reliance Foundation Young Champs 6-4 in Final Round of AIFF U15 Junior League 2024-25 on Friday.
For East Bengal FC, Sisir Sarkar scored four goals while Romit Das and Surojit Mandi scored a goal each.
East Bengal FC will next face RKM Football Academy on 18th May, Sunday at 8:00 AM and Bengaluru Football Club on 20th May, Tuesday at 4:00 PM.
Earlier, in playoff, East Bengal FC defeated Bhuna Football Club 9-1 and lost to Belgaum United Football Academy 2-1. East Bengal FC qualified for Final Round as Group Champion. All three teams had three points each but East Bengal qualified on better goal difference.
East Bengal FC finished the Zonal Leg campaign at second place with 16 points from 10 matches and qualified for the final round.
In first leg, East Bengal FC lost to Mohun Bagan SG by 4-2, Bengal Football Academy 4-3, defeated Bidhannagar Municipal Sports Academy 3-2, Mohammedan SC 2-1 and Adamas United Sports Academy 3-0.
In second leg, East Bengal FC lost to Adamas United Sports Academy 1-0, Mohun Bagan SG 3-1, played a 1-1 draw with Bidhannagar Municipal Sports Academy, defeated Bengal Football Academy 4-0 and Mohammedan SC 7-1.
