East Bengal FC defeated Sethu FC 4-2 in Indian Women’s League (IWL) 2024-25 at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Chennai on Friday.
For Moshal Girls, Elshaddai Acheampong scored a brace in 9′ & 15′, Resty Nanziri in 45+3′ and Soumya Guguloth in 88′ scored a goal each. For Sethu FC, Amina Nababi in 18′ and Hadijah Nandago in 64′ scored a goal each.
After Round 9, the Moshal Girls are leading the points table with 24 points.
Earlier, in First Leg, East Bengal FC defeated Sethu FC 3-0, Nita Football Academy 4-1, Sribhumi FC 1-0, Kickstart FC 2-0, HOPS FC 1-0, Odisha FC 3-1, lost to Gokulam Kerala FC 3-2.
In second Leg, defeated Kickstart FC 2-0.
East Bengal FC will next face Nita Football Academy on March 26 at East Bengal Ground in Kolkata.
