East Bengal FC is clubbed with Last Year Runners Up Bhawanipur FC, Police AC, KIdderpore SC, Calcutta Customs FC, West Bengal Police, BSS Sporting Club, George Telegraph SC, Aryan FC, Eastern Railway FC, Rainbow FC and Uari Football Club in Group Two of 2023-24 Kolkata League.
Mohun Bagan is clubbed with Mohammedan SC, Diamond Harbor, Peerless, United Sports, Pathchakra, Tollygunge Aragami, Southern Samiti, Kalighat Milan Sangh, Dalhousie, Army Red, FCI, CFC in Group 1.
This season Premier ‘A’ and Premier ‘B’ are merging together, hence 16 teams of Premier A and 10 teams of Premier B are playing together.
From this year Kolkata League is without foreigners. The League will start from June 25. The top three teams from each group will advance to the Super Six. On the other hand, the last four teams of each group (8 teams in two groups) will play in the relegation round. Four teams will be relegated from the Super Premier Division. Two teams from the first division will qualify for the premier division.
