East Bengal FC is placed in Group B of Reliance Foundation Development League (RFDL) 2026 National Group Stage.
Along with East Bengal FC, the other teams of Group B are Sreenidi Deccan, Bengaluru FC, SESA FA, Dempo SC and Sudeva Delhi.
Kerala Blasters, Diamond Harbour FC, Mohun Bagan SG, FC Goa, Punjab FC and Northeast United FC are clubbed in Group A.
Earlier, East Bengal FC finished second behind Diamond Harbour FC at Zonal Group Stage with 12 points from 5 matches. East Bengal FC defeated Bidhannagar MSA 3-0, United SC 6-2, Rajasthan United FC 1-0, Mohun Bagan SG 1-0, lost to Diamond Harbour FC 1-0
In Regional Qualifiers, East Bengal FC finished on top with 12 points. Mohun Bagan also finished on same points, but on head to head, East Bengal finished on top. East Bengal FC lost to United SC 1-0, defeated Diamond Harbour FC 1-0, Victoria Sporting Club 3-1, Bengal Future Champs (IFA) 8-0 and Mohun Bagan SG 2-0.
