East Bengal FC lost to Bengal Football Academy 4-3 in AIFF U15 Junior League 2024-25 at Vivekandanda Stadium, Khardaha on Thursday.
For East Bengal FC, Sisir Sarkar scored a brace (15′ and 32′) while Manab Marjit scored the other in 83′. For Bengal Football Academy, Raj Mondal scored a brace (53′ and 58′) while Disham Raj Hansda (61′) and Ankush Paul (81′) scored a goal each.
Raj Mondal was adjudged Player of the Match.
Earlier, East Bengal FC lost to Mohun Bagan SG by 4-2, defeated Bidhannagar Municipal Sports Academy 3-2, Mohammedan SC 2-1 and Adamas United Sports Academy 3-0.
Next East Bengal FC will face Adamas United Sports Academy at Vivekandanda Stadium, Khardaha on February 23.
