East Bengal FC lost to Bengaluru FC 8-2 in Final Round of AIFF U15 Junior League 2024-25 on Tuesday. East Bengal FC thus finished at second place in Group A with 6 points.

For East Bengal FC, Sisir Sarkar scored the goals. Sisir Sarkar 28 goals in the tournament and is placed jointly second along with Rajdeep Paul of Mohun Bagan SG.

Earlier, East Bengal FC defeated Reliance Foundation Young Champs 6-4, RKM Football Academy 8-1.

In playoff, East Bengal FC defeated Bhuna Football Club 9-1 and lost to Belgaum United Football Academy 2-1. East Bengal FC qualified for Final Round as Group Champion. All three teams had three points each but East Bengal qualified on better goal difference.

East Bengal FC finished the Zonal Leg campaign at second place with 16 points from 10 matches and qualified for the final round.

In first leg, East Bengal FC lost to Mohun Bagan SG by 4-2, Bengal Football Academy 4-3, defeated Bidhannagar Municipal Sports Academy 3-2, Mohammedan SC 2-1 and Adamas United Sports Academy 3-0.

In second leg, East Bengal FC lost to Adamas United Sports Academy 1-0, Mohun Bagan SG 3-1, played a 1-1 draw with Bidhannagar Municipal Sports Academy, defeated Bengal Football Academy 4-0 and Mohammedan SC 7-1.
