East Bengal FC lost to defending champions Wuhan Jiangda 2-0 in AFC Women’s Champions League 25-26 Group B match on Thursday.

Wang Shuang scored a brace in 8′ and in 17′ for the hosts.

The Moshal Girls defeated IR Iran’s Bam Khatoon FC 3-1 in their first game, and will still progress to the quarter-finals if they get at least a point against Uzbekistan’s PFC Nasaf on November 23. The Indian side can still make it into the last eight if they suffer a defeat by a margin of less than three goals and Bam Khatoon lose to Wuhan Jiangda.
