East Bengal FC lost to Gokulam Kerala FC 3-2 in Indian Women’s League (IWL) 2024-25 at EMS Corporation Stadium on Sunday. This is the first loss for East Bengal Women’s team in this season.
For Moshal Girls, Maurine Achieng in 86′ and Resty Nanziri in 90+1′ scored the goals while for Gokulam Kerala FC, Fazila Ikwaput scored a hat-trick (5′, 35′, 52′).
Fazila Ikwaput was adjudged Player of the match.
The Moshal Girls are still on top with 12 points from 5 matches.
Earlier, East Bengal FC defeated Sethu FC 3-0, Nita Football Academy 4-1, Sribhumi FC 1-0 and Kickstart FC 2-0.
East Bengal FC will next face HOPS FC on February 06 at Ambedkar Stadium.
