For East Bengal FC, Shijas scored in 18′. The Red & Gold Brigade was leading at halftime, but conceded three in second half.
Earlier, East Bengal FC defeated Odisha FC 3-1, United SC 1-0, played a 1-1 draw with Diamond Harbour FC
The Red & Gold Brigade will face Mohun Bagan on January 29 at Naihati Stadium.
