East Bengal FC lost to Mohun Bagan SG 2-0 in Indian Super League (ISL) 2024-25 Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan on Saturday.

The pathetic run for Red & Gold Brigade continues as they lost their fifth straight game and are at bottom of table with zero points. The team is yet to win a Kolkata Derby in ISL.

Mohun Bagan SG dominated the match throughout and won the Kolkata Derby as a deserved team.

Jamie Maclaren in 41′ and Dimitri Petratos in 89′ (P) scored for Mohun Bagan Super Giant. Now they moved to second place in the league tabel with 10 points from 5 matches.

Next, East Bengal FC will travel to Bhubaneshwar to face Odisha FC on October 22, while Mohun Bagan SG will trave to Hyderabad and will face Hyderabad FC on October 30.
