East Bengal FC placed in Group A of Play-off in AIFF U15 Junior League 2024-25. The other teams of the groups are Bhuna Football Club and Belgaum United Football Academy.
The winner of this group will qualify for the Final leg, the zonal winners of all 12 groups directly qualified for final leg, while the second-place teams are playing in playoff, the teams are divided in four groups and the winners will progress.
East Bengal FC will face Belgaum United Football Academy on 11th May and Bhuna Football Club on 13th May.
Earlier, East Bengal FC finished the Zonal Leg campaign at second place with 16 points from 10 matches and qualified for the final round.
In first leg, East Bengal FC lost to Mohun Bagan SG by 4-2, Bengal Football Academy 4-3, defeated Bidhannagar Municipal Sports Academy 3-2, Mohammedan SC 2-1 and Adamas United Sports Academy 3-0.
In second leg, East Bengal FC lost to Adamas United Sports Academy 1-0, Mohun Bagan SG 3-1, played a 1-1 draw with Bidhannagar Municipal Sports Academy, defeated Bengal Football Academy 4-0 and Mohammedan SC 7-1.
