East Bengal FC played a 1-1 draw Misaka United in Group A match of the Hero Indian Women’s League 2023 (IWL), at the Transstadia on Saturday.
Earlier, East Bengal FC lost opening match against Gokulam Kerala FC by 8-2 and defeated Kahaani FC 1-0 in the second while Mata Rukmani FC 2-0 in third and defeated Mumbai Knights FC 4-2 in fourth match.
Lavanya Upadhyay gave Misaka United the lead in 45+4′ while Singo Murmu equalized for East Bengal FC.
East Bengal FC will next face Sports Odisha on May 09 at Shahibaug Police Stadium.
