East Bengal FC progressed to Semifinal of AIFF Super Cup 2025-26 after a 0-0 draw with Mohun Bagan SG in Group A match at the PJN Stadium in Fatorda on Friday.
Both East Bengak FC & Mohun Bagan SG finished on five points, but East Bengal advanced for superior goal difference.
East Bengal FC earlier, played a 2-2 draw with Dempo SC and 4-0 win against Chennaiyin FC.
The Red & Gold Brigade put up a disciplined defensive performance which knocked Mohun Bagan out of the tournament.
This was the 405th Kolkata Derby. East Bengal is still leading on Head to Head Record with 144 wins, Mohun Bagan won on 134 occasions with 128 matches were finished at level.
